Advisory Board


The advisory board of standards is primarily made up of volunteer participation from industry leaders and academics who wish to contribute positively to industry and standards development and globally includes professionals of the highest calibre, led by an elected Board of Governors.

ASIPM Board of Standards is a honorary voluntary board that creates the standards for professional membership and charter board certifications. ASIPM™ owns the intellectual property, copyrights, designations, and marks used herein.

Dr. Craig Voortman

Dr Craig Voortman currently is an academic with the Department of Transportation and Supply Chain Management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Johannesburg. Craig has served as Co-head of Department and Campus Head. He has overseen the National Diploma, B Tech, M Tech Logistics and Transport qualifications and has specifically managed programmes with approximately 1000 students: 500 purchasing or supply chain students and about 500 transportation students. The programmes have grown considerably since he became Head of Department from just over 300 students to the current enrollment of over 1000 students. The Department is one of the largest academic logistics department in the world and services 4000 students in total with various curricular and extra-curricular programs.

Dr. Paul Walsh

Paul has a Ph. D. and M.Sc. in CS and B.Sc. Hons in CS with Maths and Statistics, a long list of publicationsincluding outstanding paper awards, and has been recently awarded with distinction in Project Management Diploma coming top of class in the Irish Higher Education Authority’s awards. He has project managed a wide range of projects from start-up technology companies to managing international projects for multi-national corporations, recently completing projects for Endress (€ 985 million turnover), Iron Mountain, Lincor, SEFTec, Teagasc, Irish Naval Service, Cork University Hospital, Glanbia and the European Commission. He is a highly experience trainer having over 20 years of training in the professional development sector.

He is founder and CTO of bio-technology company www.nsilico.com. Funded under national and international research funding programs. FP7 funded researcher in data fusion and machine learning. Architected and project managed enterprise and mobile software systems, including 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP compliant enterprise solutions for life science industry. Editorial Board Member, Landes Sciences BioEngineered. Internationally published Computer Science Articles.Genetic and Evolutionary Conference Committee Member, ACM and IEEE program committees member. Project Management and Microsoft Certified Professional. Expert witness for IT disputes, Murphy English & Co Solicitors Cork.
